1. Initial Consultation
If you are in Nanaimo and area, we will sit down to discuss your specific website needs. This could happen here, at your home or at your office. If long distance, we will arrange a conference call at your convenience. We are aware the thought of building a website may appear daunting at first, but we will walk you through the process, step by step and in plain english.
4. SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Right from the onset we take SEO into consideration. The structure of your website is built in such a way as to enable the search engine spiders to properly index your website. We will assist you to ensure keyword inclusion as well as the proper use of meta tags and titles. We will also assist you in setting up an "off-page" SEO campaign to ensure even higher rankings.2. Mockups & Site Construction
After discussing the "look and feel" of your site and determining the content, we will begin the process of providing you with up to 3 different mockups (like a design prototype if you will). Once we have determined what it is that you want, we begin the process of building your website. You may or may not be providing us with the images and/or textual content required. 5. Go Live
Once we are confident that we have all the bases covered, and you are happy with the look and feel and functionality of the website, we arrange for a "Go Live" date. We will assist in any email address changes or creation and will take care of the needed DNS record changes. If upgrading from an older website, we will ensure a smooth transition, with no impact to you or your customers.3. Dev Server
As we work on your website, you will be able to monitor our progress on one of our development servers. This will enable you to see what your website will look like as we begin to put all the pieces together. This allows you input right from the beginning and will not be visible to the public or to your clients - until you say it's ready. 6. Follow-up
Once the website is up and running, our commitment to you is not yet over. We will ensure your site is registered with the search engines, will ensure a sitemap and robots.tx file are uploaded and will make sure that you are in fact findable in the Google listings.
